Phana Scholarship

Fukkul Aaani is launching this scholarship for people’s mental health that focuses on holistic approach. Scholarship will cover two main things:

  1. Supporting people who cannot afford Therapy Sessions but are committed to their own healing journey and self-exploration.
  2. Phana Scholarship will be given to those who are committed to study holistic healing. From Psychotherapy to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, it’ll consider holistic model of health and wellness. The preference will be given to religious scholars who want to become mental health experts and become holistic healers.

Eligibility:

You are eligible if you are:

  • Already enrolled in any Psychology Degree and want to serve the community by become psychologists, clinical psychologists, psychotherapist, counsellors, and social workers.
  • If you haven’t enrolled in any degree and want to pursue this as a career you can email us and we’ll pick who to choose for the scholarship.
  • If you want to work on your healing but cannot afford Personal session or support group sessions just yet.
  • Scholarship is also applicable for courses offered by world renowned psychotherapists such as Dr Shefali, Sheryl Paul, Dr Nicole Lepera etc.
    • *Preference will be given to ulema, religious scholars and students of Islam.

    About Scholarship:

    In my Academic Career, I had many financial struggles in my own journey and if it weren’t for some generous people who understood my vision, I wouldn’t have been able to complete my studies. Only Allah SWT can repay them for how they facilitated my Student Loan. I am paying it forward by starting Phana Scholarship. AlhmdulAllah two people are already the beneficiary of Phana Scholarship and have started their studies. We’ll keep adding new people as our capacity increases in sha Allah.

    Phana Scholarship is named after one of my primary caregivers who took care of me when my mother was working as a doctor. Though, Phana had to leave but the love and confidence she gave me always kept me looking to find answers in the world of healing. Her love became the inspiration of my Final Thesis On Love in my masters in Psychology. The Attachment she gave me the wings to explore how mental health and physical health are closely related. It gave me courage to think outside the box and finally name my company after that/ Fukkul Aani-Breaking outside the box.

    Today on my birthday, I am honoring her by naming this scholarship after her. Her name was Farzana Saif but I would call her Phana. You can wish me birthday by donating in this beautiful cause as well on.

    I’ll end by this, ‘We are all about our primary caregivers’. It’s the ‘Khul JAA SIM SIM’ that will open the cave of ‘Self Discovery’. May we are able to heal ourselves and then our families and our communities.
