FUKKUL AANI PROVIDING SERVICES TO HELP EVERYONE RETHINK CHILDHOOD

Parenting, teaching and all of our educational institutions are plagued with this understanding that

‘children come into this world as empty vessels and it is the job of the parent, the teacher and the educational institution to fill this vessel with information so much so that the inspiration to explore the world in their own ways is lost.’

Fukkul Aani challenges this notion and believes that children are born with their ‘fitrah’. The duty of their parents, teachers and institutions is to provide the child with the necessary resources and let the magic happen. Parents should provide the child with as much of the world as they can and then watch them thrive if their ‘tarbiyyah’ caters to their individual needs.

The significant others: People who may not be parents themselves but who interact with children on a regular basis, will also need to reshape their perception of childhood because the children will look up to them as the adult figures and whatever influence they exert, may have lasting effects on the children they communicate with. It will also help them to better understand themselves.
